Good day to all of God's beautiful creation. Today I would love to share with you one of a couple of songs that God has placed in my spirit. As time progresses I will share with you guys the others together with scriptures that my heavenly father has mandated of me and of all those who truly wants to get to know Him and experience TRUE INTIMACY with HIM.

The Serenity Prayer & Proverb

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference.

Glory be unto God. Good day my brothers and sisters. It is truly an honour to come to you in the Blessed name of our Lord and Savour Jesus Christ. Who is the Object of Our Faith, the Only Faith that Saves is Faith in Him.

I want to really encourage all of you to revere Jesus. He is REAL and he is ALIVE!!!! For too long people have taken Him and his HOLY NAME for Granted.

Yes GOD IS A GOOD GOD. Yes his Mercies flows like a river wide. Yes he is a Forgiving God. He is also a HOLY GOD, a JEALOUS GOD and Yes we must give him the Respect and Honour that he deserves (Exodus 20:5; Deuteronomy 4:24). He is to be Feared because the Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom (Psalm 111:10).

I had a friend (Marvin) he died back in 2003. We grew up together, we went to the same Church and as time went by we kept in touch. One day I visited Marvin at his workplace and he started to relay a story to me about his life and what he was experiencing with another friend of mine (Dixie) who shared a child with him (teenage parents). [Yes Christians make mistakes too, its what you do after is what's important and what have you learnt from the mistakes].

Now I could not believe this was the same Marvin I knew, out of his mouth spew only guile, bitterness, hate. I said to him, "Marvin, please don't talk like that, it is not Christlike". He answered "Look girl what you telling me about Jesus? Don't give me that Jesus talk, I not on Jesus I am a (religion) now." I left there with a very heavy heart and told my husband about it.

Two months later, Marvin got killed by the Police. It was a case of mistaken identity, they thought he was an assailant who robbed a gas-station. His death was horrible. Then they tried to cover their tracks by discrediting his name, much to the despair of his family. He left to mourn, a wife, an 8mth old daughter and a 10yr old son.

Why did this happen to him? I kept asking myself that question. Was it because he renounced Jesus? Someone he knew as a child? Someone his mother and father knew and taught him about? I really don't have the exact answer, what do you think?

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7).

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Please read below about others who have mocked and disrespected the name of Jesus and God and their outcome.


John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:

"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are more famous than Him" (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.


Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil )

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died .


Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet)

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you."

He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.


The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be.

With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it"

The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.


Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your Jesus".

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment .


Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell".

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit .

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend, The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:

"My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You."

She responded: "Only If He (God) Travels in The Trunk, Cause Inside Here It's Already Full "

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died,
the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.

The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none were broken .

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)

Said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle .

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive (1 Corinthians 15:20) .

Parable of the Sparrows

"Set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God ... not on earthly things."1

Once upon a time a loaf of bread fell from a bakery truck and as it hit the ground a crumb broke loose. Three sparrows all eyed the crumb and swooped down to grab it, but began fighting over it.

Eventually one of the sparrows succeeded in scooping up the crumb in its beak and flew away with it—hotly pursued by the other two sparrows. A frenzied aerial fracas took place until the crumb was completely consumed.

The only thing these sparrows saw was the crumb. None noticed the loaf still on the ground.
How often we consume our energies squabbling over trivialities while the true riches of life go unnoticed and escape us. And how often we concentrate our energies on non-essential issues while the needs of the hurting are neglected and the lost go to hell!

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, please give me the wisdom to see and the good sense to major on the majors and not get carried away majoring on the minors. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name. Amen."

Togetherness

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"1

Some of the most fascinating trees I have ever seen are the magnificent California and West Coast redwoods. They reach their leafy arms heavenward, commonly growing 200 to 275 feet tall. The tallest one in Humboldt County, California, towers 368.6 feet in height. These trees stand like sentinels of time and have done so for hundreds of years. Some were living at the time Christ walked on earth.

They've been through winds, earthquakes, fires and storms—still they stand. Nothing seems to deter them.

What is so amazing is that these trees, among the tallest in the world, have a comparably shallow root system and yet they rarely ever fall. How do they keep standing even in the wildest of storms? It's because the redwood's root systems reach out for great distances and are intertwined with one another. They literally hold each up other up.

If you and I are going to reach our full potential, we too need the support of each other, not to be overdependent but inter-dependent.

None of us can stand alone. As Solomon also said, "If two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."2

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, please help me to be like a mighty redwood tree giving and receiving support to and from my fellow Christian friends so I, too, can reach the heights of my God-given potential. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name. Amen."

No Greater Love!!!

I'm the one who spat upon the Saviour;

I'm the one who mocked His Holy Name;

Good Blessed Morning to all of you my beautiful Brothers and Sisters. This is the day that the Lord has made, we will be glad and rejoice in it.

It is truly a great privilege and honour to come to you today in the blessed and holy name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is truly the Lover of Our Souls. In fact he Loves us so much that he died for us on Calvary more than two thousand years ago. Isn't that awesome? Imagine, someone loving me so much that he actually died for me.

Oh and not just anyone you know, but the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Darling of Heaven whose one word is greater than this entire universe. He left his Deity, his glory, his power and became lowly man. Suffered shame and humiliation, just for me and you.

Wow, what great LOVE. I don't know about you but I have never experienced greater love than this, have you?

Greater LOVE has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. (John 15:13)

As we enjoy this Easter Holidays with friends and loved ones, let us take time out to spend and thank the one who loves us deeper than no other. Our Lord and Saviour, our Redeemer, Our Advocate before Holy Father, the Lover of Our Souls and our big brother, Jesus Christ. Jesus who has paid the ultimate price for our sins. This Holy Sacrifice which makes us able to go before the throne of God's Grace. Thank You Jesus, Mercy said NO. No to Sin, No to Death. Yes to everlasting life in him, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.
